a cheap q5 means there are buttload of things to fix on it and i plan to start with the control arms on both sides as well as the balljo ints. I'm not the worlds best mechanic but i can find my way around a garage nicely so i plan to do this myself. does anyone have a repair manual or some guide that can help me get this done fast and not have the q5 sitting on jackstands for a month?

@TheTrooper1 i feel you on the cheap Q5 needing fixes. For the control arms and ball joints check online for a pdf repair manual for your year. AudiWorld has good step by step guides too. should keep your Q5 off jackstands quick!

Bentley publishers is a great resource for a repair manual. Also, check out audiworld or audizine for guides and tips from other owners. also, youtube is packed with video tutorials to help you out too.

Yeah, I agree your Q5 might be cheap but it means you gotta fix plenty. If you're planning to DIY, YouTube is perfect (agree with @christianboyle here). Should also book an alignment when you're done with everything so you can drive a whole lotta better.

ugh. Been there! but for a manual, get a repair manual for your Q5 year. And Youtube's there and videos on FB! You can count on it if you wish to DIY.

The joys and pains of finding a bargain!
If you haven't found anything yet, try checking for a Haynes manual!
