How do I tell if my blower motor’s bad on a 2014 TDI Q5

Hey there! I've been having some trouble with the AC in my 2014 TDI Q5, and I think it might be the blower motor causing the hassle. It's really frustrating, and I'd love to get to the bottom of it.

What am I looking for to help me figure out if the blower motor has bitten the dust? If you have any quick tests or checks I can do before I start tearing things apart, that would be super helpful.

Before pulling panels, check the fuse for the blower in the passenger side panel or under the dash. but if that's good, try giving the underside of the glovebox a light tap while the fan is on, sounds silly, but if the motor brushes are dying, sometimes it'll kick on briefly and confirm it's the motor itself when you crank the AC, do you hear anything from the vents? even a faint hum or clicking?

Sure, if the fan's acting weird, like cutting in and out or not blowing at all, it could be the motor going bad, maybe give it a tap while the fan is on, it can tell you a lot, if it suddenly starts, that's usually the sign, you can also check if it's getting power before tearing into it too far
